Regional Reciprocal Catastrophe Pool (RRCP) MRB Services :: Line Written & Capacity MRB created the Regional Reciprocal Catastrophe Pool in 1994 to provide insurance companies an opportunity to reinsure themselves by placing their top catastrophe layers into a commonly shared, competitively priced facility that spreads the catastrophe exposures from similar companies writing in other regions of the United States. We are pleased to have 45 participating companies and offer up to $30,000,000 in capacity! Since the RRCP's inception, participants have reaped the rewards of a 5.6% historical Pool loss ratio, with MRB returning over $80,000,000 to those participants! The RRCP is a members' Pool. We have found that the Pool tends to sell itself with its excellent results. We welcome your inquiries and would encourage you to speak to current participants about the benefits of joining!
